Upload Files on Products — Privacy Policy

Upload Files on Products is a Wix app that lets shoppers attach files on a store's product pages. This policy describes exactly what data the app touches, where it lives, and how to make it disappear.

Where your data lives

The app runs entirely on Wix's infrastructure. We operate no servers and no databases of our own. Every file a shopper uploads is stored directly in the merchant's own Wix Media Manager, inside a "Product Uploads" folder. Files never pass through or rest on any system we control.

What the app processes

• Uploaded files: the files shoppers choose to attach (images, PDFs, ZIPs and similar). Stored only in the merchant's Media Manager.
• A random session identifier: stored in the shopper's browser so their uploads land in one folder. It contains no personal information.
• Cart and order references: the cart id, and order number and buyer name read from the merchant's own store data, used solely to show the merchant which order a file belongs to.

What we never do

• We do not sell or share any data with third parties.
• We do not copy files or personal data off the Wix platform.
• We do not use uploaded content for any purpose other than displaying it to the merchant.
• We add no advertising or tracking scripts to storefronts.

Data deletion

Uninstalling the app removes its access to the site. Uploaded files remain in the merchant's Media Manager under their full control — the merchant can delete the "Product Uploads" folder at any time, which permanently removes every file the app ever handled.

Shoppers' rights

Shoppers who want a file they uploaded removed should contact the store they uploaded it to; the store owner can delete it from their Media Manager immediately. We hold no copy.
